What you say to yourself about yourself truly matters! Imagine if your best friend confided in you that she talks negatively about herself daily. How would you respond? If she mentioned she can't look in the mirror without nitpicking her appearance, your reaction would likely be supportive: “Oh, girl, we’ve gotta do something about this! You are beautiful, amazing, and so much more than the wrinkles you see.” 💖
Now, think about your own inner dialogue. You would encourage your friend to see her beauty, but what about when you speak negatively to yourself every day? Why is it that you don’t feel the same urgency to intervene? This negative self-talk has become a REALLY BAD HABIT that you perpetuate each day.

Isn’t it time to make a change? Consider how long you've been engaging in negative self-talk. Just like any repetitive behavior, you may stop noticing its impact. When everyone else around you is doing it, it’s easy to brush it off as a joke instead of recognizing the harm it causes within.
When we punish ourselves with harsh words, we create a toxic inner environment that can affect various aspects of our lives 🌪️. It can be challenging to connect these dots, but it’s essential to try.
Years ago, I transformed my relationship with my body, and it’s been truly amazing. Every time I look in the mirror, I think, “Oh, you beautiful lady, you are killing it today! I love you so much!” Sharing this might provoke some judgment about my self-affirmation, but trust me, this is healthy. This is how you should treat yourself. You are no different from me; you are gorgeous.
