
Which Path Will You Take?

This is one of the most impactful lessons you can practice.
Let’s say you really want to know what direction you should go in life. Should you do A or B? 🤔 Should you stay in that relationship or move on? Should you take the new job or stay put? Should you start that business or play it safe? Should you move to that city by the beach you’ve always dreamed of or stay put?
These are some of the big questions that keep people up at night. It seems like they are so big and we don’t want to make the wrong choice, so we stay stuck. If only we could see the future and how both paths would turn out. This would certainly make our lives easier. Right?
AGREED. However, that’s not how life is. So, here is something you can practice to tap into your intuition and make the right decision for you.
First, you must quiet down and tune into yourself. You could meditate 🧘♀️ , do breathwork, or merely go for a walk to quiet your mind. You and only you truly know what’s right for you.
Next, think of the question or scenario you want an answer for. 🤔
Now, listen for the answer. 🧏♀️ It could come in a whisper, a line in a book you are reading 📖, a billboard, a song, etc. You must become aware of your surroundings.
TRUST YOURSELF and BELIEVE that your answer is coming.
I also recommend that you get rid of any noise that is preventing you from hearing it. Maybe you are reading a book or watching something that you don’t resonate with, but you keep doing it out of habit. Stop. 🛑 It’s clouding your mind from allowing in the answer.
Another trick in the process is to take one scenario all the way out. Act in your mind as if you are going down that path. Take it out 5 years, maybe longer. How does it feel? How do you feel? Is that the life you want? Now, do the same thing with the other option. Take it all the way out. Walk that path in your mind. Who’s there, what are you doing? Does it feel good? Are you excited? Then, check to see what feels better in your body (not in your mind).
Which scenario gets you excited and makes you feel free?
It’s really helpful while you do this to let go of any obligations or expectations of others. After all, they don’t have to walk your path. Only you do.
Be true to yourself!
And always remember, if you choose plan A and realize while you are walking that path that it’s not for you……..change your path. Nothing is set in stone in life.
