It happened to me. And because it happened to me, I know it’s happened to you too.
I slipped, and here’s what I can tell you about it.
I’ve been consciously committed to living in a high-vibe state every day, but last week, I slipped. 🤦♀️
The week started great—I was in an amazing high-vibe mindset. It was my birthday, Stella’s birthday 🥳, I was hosting a party 🎉, Stella was in a theater production, there was carpooling, and I had a client I worked with for three days straight.
Then it happened—I got overwhelmed, stressed out, and rushed. 😩 All my high-vibe energy went out the window, and I went into survival mode, pretending to be present while feeling frustrated.
I couldn’t believe it happened, but it did. On Sunday, I caught myself. I realized I had stopped creating my life the way I wanted and was just coasting through, getting things done without intention.
Here’s what I noticed I was doing:
- Noticing things that were wrong 👎
- Getting easily irritated 😠
- Rushing as if I was running out of time 🏃♀️💨
- Staying up too late 🌙
- Not focusing on my intention behind what I was doing 🤔
All of this led to my nervous system getting out of whack.
Now, this may sound terrible, but the truth is—even amidst the chaos, I stopped and practiced the techniques I swear by when life feels out of control. It was SO POWERFUL. ⚡💥
I wasn’t as consistent as usual, but I’ve been practicing high-vibe techniques every day for eight months, so they’ve become a part of who I am. Even when life seems to run us instead of us creating it, we can take a pause, use a quick technique, and get back in the game.
